South Africa is one of the few countries whose national anthem includes multiple languages.

Our anthem combines parts of five of South Africa's languages:

It was created to help unite South Africans after the country's first democratic elections in 1994.

Today, the anthem reminds us that although we speak different languages and come from different cultures, we share one nation.
