Learn South Africa's National Anthem

Welcome to the Wild Warriors Anthem Academy β€” where five warriors teach you the words, sounds and stories behind our beautiful, multilingual anthem.

🌍 Did You Know?

South Africa is one of the few countries whose national anthem includes multiple languages.

Our anthem combines parts of five of South Africa's languages:

  • πŸ—£οΈ
    isiXhosa
  • πŸ—£οΈ
    isiZulu
  • πŸ—£οΈ
    Sesotho
  • πŸ—£οΈ
    Afrikaans
  • πŸ—£οΈ
    English

It was created to help unite South Africans after the country's first democratic elections in 1994.

Today, the anthem reminds us that although we speak different languages and come from different cultures, we share one nation.
